Two mot voltage doubler

For those who have played with a two seriesed mot with voltage double.  If 
using mot caps can the cases be common with the cores of the mot 
transformers.  The enclosure I am using has a metal base board where I'm 
going to mount my mot transformers and I want to check whether there would 
be a preference to have the mot caps mounted to this or insulated from 
it.  In the microwave oven I think they are commoned.  But in this 
situation there would be considerably more voltage between the inside of 
the cap and the case.
