Herwig,

All you need to do is check out some driver IC's, I use some some IRF, they
have many to choose from, they are really good when you get them running
correctly. You dont need a sch to make them work, just replace those nasty
isolation coils with the IC's like I did on my site. Having now build the
new direct drive system theres no chance of me ever going back to coils
again! If you backtrack the links and dates you can see all the desasters
and like which the isolation coils gave me along with many experiments of
trying to make them better. I haven;t had chance to totally finish the
diagram for the DDSSTC, The main parts are drawn, though I dont want to
publish the thing until i'm happy with operation.Dont let this put you off,
IRF's datasheets tell you all you need to know to wire them up! infact the
error control gave me more trouble than anything since the error pin has
multiple ins and outs at various voltage levels, though its just about there
and I can tell you it works bloody great! My old isolation coils made my
H-bridge get smoking hot as low as 40VDC input, I've had 50VDC pumping
though the new DDSSTC and the fets hardely get warm, a clear sign of much
better mosfet drives. It makes life so much easier not having to bolt on a
brick sized heatsink aswell ;-)

Cheers,
Chris
