Indeed.
However there are many ways to test his theories.
He proposed the observations/tests.
Others (30 years pre cyclotron) MADE the observations.
They matched the predictions.
(and:
Einstein had MANY ideas.
MOST have stood up remarkably well.
SOME have not.
