Dont know much about tubes, but I know a MOT is easy enough to rewind. Just
knock the secondary off with a hammer and chisel without hurting the primary
and feed wire through till the desired voltage is obtained. Magnet(enamel)
wire is preferred for this. If you want to save the secondary you can grind
out the welds and take the MOT completely apart.
