         Another myth that is a must to include in the list:

- you can judge output voltage from a Tesla Coil by sparklength.

** You can't. This myth has given rise to output voltage estimates
which do not stand to reason e.g. how can a coil 1m in length
possibly put out 1MV without directly flashing over from top to
bottom. Seems proponents of this myth could save builders of the
national grid some huge costs in insulators ;)
