The BIGPIG turning your neighbor's sprinkler system on and off is rather 
amusing. I'm guessing it has something to do with maybe the tree's roots 
running near the sprinkler's electrical system or near the sprinkler's 
plumbing, which leads to the electrical system.
Have you ever tried it on holloween when the kids are in the neighbor's 
yard? Or when a salesman comes? or  maybe the pizza-boy?
They probably wouldn't know what to think. They might think they're in a 
lightning storm, with the rain and the lightning. or not.
