Hi Terry,

It looks a lot like my Powerstat 1256 inside (at least to some extent) and 
I did eventually figured out how to pull the shaft.  Glad you figured it 
out, else you could have brought it over and I'm sure we would have figured 
it out (he he).  How much does that beast weigh and how do you ship 
it??  BTW, how does it compare to the 1256 that I believe is rated at 28amps.
