Considering it's 1.25" long certainly not over ~40 kV without the spark tracking back to the primary. You could put it in a can of oil to fix that, but I'm guessing it won't last very long internally at that voltage.

Does anyone know just how hard you can push those pulse and trigger transformers you find in some laser and lighting circuits, voltage wise? Like the transformer sold here <http://www.amazing1.com/transformers.htm>http://www.amazing1.com/transformers.htm it's the CD45 transformer.
