   Ed ,I don't have any place to post pictures my self , and a very slow
dial system but there is a picture of my homemade cap and a coil form I
made form someone for a 3.5Mhz RF amp at

I live 3 1/2 mike out of Jonesburg a town of 500 people , half way
between St.Louis and Columbia

Matt , I must agree with you. I built a 12Kv variable capacitor by hand
last summer , some people said I should have bought a vacuum variable
but I fell better about saying I made it than I bought it.

    How about a picture of it?  Where in Missouri?  I'm originally
from Columbia where I built my first TC back in 1939, using HOME MADE
GLASS PLATE CAPACITORS which some here despise.  They should, but
this worked well enough to get me started in the silly hobby.
