Dan,

If you know where to get polyurethane for $6/gallon, please let us
all in on your secret :^) About the cheapest that I've seen gallon quan-
tities in Home Depot, Lowes, ect. of even the cheap off-brand poly-
urethanes is around $20/gallon. Name brands are generally close to $30
a gallon.Quart quantities of Minwax urethane runs around $8 to $9 in
my area.

Paul,

I just purchased a small can of Polyurethane from Home Depot for $2.29 last
week for another project of mine.
This is more than enough to coat several coils.

Not really sure where you are getting that $6.00 price from unless you plan
on buying a gallon
of the stuff.
