Well Steven,
                      Now you've gone and done it! Of course most hot dogs
are really cooked when you get them but it is nice to warm them up though
you don't have to.
So, beside the material that could have come off the electrodes, oxides,
etc., you have other problems. Way back in electronics school, when we were
transitioning from tubes to solid state we had to get used to the idea that
tubes used electrons and solid state used holes. Of course the holes go
through the solid state stuff and because they use toxic material in them,
some of the holes came through the circuit partly filled with toxic
stuff.Now, you've got all sort of solid state stuff in the building and
neighborhood and as you are using AC power, the holes move back and forth
and some get into your TC circuit. Now you've got toxic holes and some got
into your hot dog; The rest of the holes likely filled up with electrons and
got stuck there, which is bad because about 10 percent of your power is from
nuclear power plants. So, if you do not have lead lined power wiring, you
also have radioactive electrons that have filled up the holes and all this
is in your hot dog, which you ate!
