Hi Victor,

I also started out with a big coil. My very first Tesla coil was 13" 
x 38" and later the length was added to for a 13" x 44" coil. It was 
powered by a 10 kva pig with external variac ballast (28 amp).

Now, had I not been asking questions to the coilers on this list 
during that time, I would certainly not be writing this reply (I'd be 
dead from ignorance). Since that coil, I have built smaller and 
smaller coils - go figure!. Anyway, the best recommendation I can 
make for all the toys you have collected is to use them, but make 
sure you ask every question you can think of during each build of 
those toys. There are many things which may appear basic, but not 
everything is as basic as it appears with high powered coils. Best to 
ask then to - well, you know.
