Yes, I still remember how difficult it was to measure the resonant frequencies the first time, and I often got confused doing it.

However, I always found what I need in Malcolm Watts article, which is ready for download at the bottom of this page:

How do you physically hook it all up? I know to tune the 2ndry first then prim. but do you hook the probe to rf grnd and other to topload? Same as wave gen??
remember the 1st time you did this? i feel more lost now then the day i started gathering parts, many months ago! any guidance would be greatly appreciated
