RE: Spark Gap Design

Greetings Dirk
It is easy to set the gap , just drill the holes a little big m set the
gap with a shim like a cut up credit card , I had some small strips of
Teflon I used , the when you like the gap epoxy them in place. Dill a
hole a little bigger in the first and last and use a bigger bolt in that
hole for your leads.

What is the benefit of building a multi-gap spark gap using copper
pipe segments within a large diameter pipe (such as 5")? This design
seems difficult since you are drilling round stock and cant
adjustment be difficult? What type of designs do you suggest as an
alternative?
