I added some thumbnail-sized MPEG videos to the "One Atmosphere Plasma
Globe" page above.
If you have some welder's argon available, plus a glass bowl and a small
Tesla coil, you can use the TC to "feel" the surface of the invisible
argon pool.  It creates a "plasma globe" display at one atmosphere.
Or if you connect the TC to a foil electrode outside the bowl, you can
stick your hand into the argon pool, and inches-long white discharge
filaments will shoot form your fingertips.  Stings a bit.  Use your
knuckles instead.
I wanna be a Main Terminal: stick my whole head into a large bowl of argon
and make plasma streamers shoot out of my scalp.
