I got them from Elite Magnetics, a division of Spang And Company. 
They're in Booneville Arkansas. The part # is 49925UC. Each C 2.25" x 
4" OD with a 1" square cross section. My "pig" uses 8 of these C's. I 
think they make bigger C's now, but the cost goes up exponentially 
with size. Mine cost me around $6.50 each in quantities of 100 ($500 
minimum order, but at least I didn't have to want 10,000+ before 
they'd talk to me). I ended up selling the extras I had on ebay.

    Hey Mike, where did you come up with such a large ferrite core? 
I've been looking for one for a while.
