Subject: Huge energy discharge capacitors available

Hi all,

I have begun to get rather bored (and scared) of shrinking
quarters, especially since I don't have an adequate switching
mechanism to reliably switch that kind of power. So, I have 3
huge oil-filled, energy discharge caps that are going to be looking
for a new home to the most reasonable offer. I need to clean out
some space, so I intend to sale them off to the highest bidder,
no matter how much (or little) that may be. Two of them are 10
kV, 100 uFd units, one an orange painted Maxwell, the other
a grey painted NWL. They are both about 24" tall x 14" wide
x 7" thick and weigh around 150 lbs each. The other one is
a 10 kV, 198 uFd, grey painted, Aerovox unit, about 28" tall
x 14" wide x 7" thick and it weighs around 165 lbs. Now for the
caveat - I would MUCH prefer that you come and pick them
up in Memphis, TN, although I suppose that I could try to
ship them if there was just no other way. Depending on the
offer, I may be willing to sell them seperately but would prefer
to sell all 465 lbs of them at once ;^) I had them paralleled as
the energy bank of a 20 kJ quarter shrinker/can crusher. I
have probably fired them less than 20 times, although I can't
say how much "use" they had before I got them. I can say that
they are in good shape and 100% functional, though. Anyone inte-
rested please contact me off-list and I can provide pics and try
to answer any additional questions that you may have about them.

PS - I will also probably be willing to part with my custom steel con-
tainment vessel, as I won't really have any more use for it either.
