Re: Did I just make a blunder?

Hi,
I use a variable speed drill on the left side... It turns CCW so it
turns the wire over the top... Spins the wire on left to
right... Seems easy and comfortable to me... I like over the top
and left to right regardless of the drill direction switch... I am
right handed...
My first "good" coil was wound by computer. But all have been
vari-speed power drill wound since...

Hmmm...
Cheers.

The real interesting thing here is right-handed coilers will
typically always wind a coil in the opposite direction of
left-handed coilers (body mechanics sets the direction, even for
their setup of winding machines). Nature is always in control.
Take care,
Bart
Interesting. I'm right handed, drive my winder with an electric
drill from the right end, and feed the wire "over the top" starting
from the left end. Is there a "handedness" about that choice? What
do others do?
