I think DC meant to place the "RF hash chokes" in series with each leg of the NST SECONDARY, between the xfrmr and "Terry filter." However, if he did actually mean to place them across the NST primary, that would certainly eliminate any RF hash. There simply would be none, thus protecting the NST and PFC caps from damage.

I'm sure you intended to say that you place your "RF hash chokes" in SERIES with each leg of the NST primary, and not "across" the NST primary (which would be a dead short across the primary).

Use RF hash chokes across the NST pri between the xmfr and the Terry filter to delete the RF spikes. Iron core, 2 inch ID PVC tube, 70 turns #12 AWG on both hot and neutral legs.
