But remember even hooking them up in series parallel fashion does work, but
you will have to consider the insulation factor of the transformers your
using, you can break down the minor insulation between windings and if you
over voltage the secondary's enough you can have a major insulation break
down which could possibly leave the core hot under certain conditions so be
cautious and do not over do it. Also if the turn's ratio is not the same in
each of the transformers you will end up with circulating currents in the
unmatched windings and that's another story so use the same type
transformers and you should have no troubles.

Theoretically, transformers can be cascaded in this
fashion to obtain higher voltage.  Practically, this
is not a good approach.  If you wish to obtain higher
voltage using a number of lower voltage transformers,
it is more practical to wire all the primaries in
parallel, and all the secondaries in series. If the
transformers are in phase, their secondary voltages
will add up.

Do you have your hands on transformers right now, or
are you simply studying transformer theory? What are
you trying to do?
