Hi Dave,
I just responded to the rev 6 schematic saying it
didnt look right as the rev 5 schematic looked
right per the superior electric connection
details for three1156 or 1256 variacs. Upon
studing this rev 6 schematic closer, I believe
either one will work just fine. As you say, the
polarity of the connections is importance. Chip
could put polarity dots on each coil of the
toroid balancing choke to clarify this. On rev
5, polarity dots all to the left of the choke and
on rev 6, polarity dots all on top of the choke would work.

This is the correct configuration!!! Make sure to observe polarity
(see previously listed Superior Electric URL for connection details).
