How would you safely bleed a single 4Uf Cap? 5 megs would bleed it in 100
seconds, power would be 250 watts if it were to charged to 35KV. I guess
that would work with a HV oil filled switch. But I want to fit this in my
tank. That reminds me...

***********BTW I own 3 HV switches in cans (ebay) in Ohio, WOHR TV I think.

The engineer is in recovery and can't ship em. If Someone wants to pick em
up and send one to me. 36lbs. They are free for the taking!!!**************
contact me off list if interested. These are like the ones used for
metering. They used to switch 3 phase if power went down to the station.

Don't now about safer, cheaper maybe if you got a deal. 3200 joules
will pretty much kill weather 1 big cap or 180 smaller ones. With
3-phase rectified I didn't think it really needed filtered anyway
since the dc never crosses/approaches 0 (13% ripple even with no
filter cap iirc).
