To All,

Whatever you do....

Nobody here should EVER complain to a major manufacturer about YOUR use of
professional high voltage products in your HOBBY coil. If you do, they may
stop selling toroids to Tesla coilers the same way that T&R Transformer and
Condenser Products stopped selling to the "Tesla Coil Community" (including
me with a ten year track record, a five million dollar insurance policy and
a leadership position in the f/x industry). That will hurt the hobby
community the same way it hurts me.

By definition, there is no such thing as a manufacturing defect in high
voltage physics as practiced by hobbyists. If it blows up; learn something
and move on; don't blame the people that made your tiny parts.

Besides, I don't think that the toriod company in question sells to
individuals or others wishing to build Tesla coils for hobby use anymore
anyway.

Jeff
