A colleague at work announced he found the attached website.  There 
are numerous
Vacuum Tube Handbooks and references on this list, some unpublished (internal
RCA documents).  WARNING: some of these pdf's are HUGE, one RCA reference
is over 151MB!!!  Some are Military, some are manufacturer (internal 
reference)
all are excellent.

Great references to fill your open HD space, excellent information on 
tube operation,
specification, circuit design, oscillator construction (VTTC CROWD 
---TAKE NOTICE).
Best reference list I've ever found, from a fellow HV experimenter, 
PhD candidate,
and VT guitar musician!
