Hello,

Its not for sale, just a functional concept for experimentation.   Its an 
adjustable gap that is  manipulated electrically by switches instead of 
tediously and mechanically (such as by a screw or spring tension).  
Technically its not completely stationary because someone is moving the 
switches, but this could also be done remotely by relays/etc.

The only real advantage is the ease of repeatability in setting the gap.
