Scott,

Without question, the longest *photographed* man-made arc was produced 
by the SIBNIIE Marx bank, shown here on Bert Hickman's website:

Beyond that, the longest Tesla coil arcs I've seen in photos were about 
30 to 35ft in length.   GL
