This was probably the power supply for the "Russian
Woodpecker" R.I.P.  Hehehhh...

But seriously, what a cool thing!  Somebody should
back a 100kW trailer-mounted generator up to that
five-story-tall CW multiplier and try to fire the
thing up again!

Or perhaps somebody looking for a vacation home abroad
should find out about buying the place.  I bet the
current owner (if any) would be happy to get a few
$100k for the place, in exchange for transferring all
liability for toxic cleanup, etc.
