I agree with Gerry.

In short, there really has never been any argument that "wireless power transfer" does or does not work. It does work. My cordless toothbrush uses wireless power transfer --- it just doesn't transfer more than a few inches while it's charging the batteries in the toothbrush.

The problem is the efficiency is horrible and therefore it's not applicable to normal commercial uses. Until it becomes efficient enough to violate the standard 1/d squared physics equation it's not going to succeed.

Hi All,

This subject has come up in the past and has been squelched as one that has come up before. I personally don't have any hang ups on this topic and can consider it "on topic" since this was one of Tesla's endeavors. I guess as long as useful information is discussed it could continue. So, let me know what you all think.
