Hi David.  The input to my pole pig Jacob's ladder is 237 VAC at about 28 
amps, controlled by a welder.

David Speck is absolutely right about taking great precautions when working 
with so much current!  I consider myself a beginner in HV experimentation. 
It has been the guidance of folks like Gary Lau and Bart Anderson who have 
helped keep me safe.  So, don't be shy to ask if you are not sure.

Good to hear from you Nick!  I've been building a quarter scale Yak 54 
remote control airplane since February but am planning on continuing the 
construction of my large Tesla coil very soon.  Thanks to Bart Anderson, I 
believe that I have a very nice design
