Hi Cris,

Get out your wallet! I have a bunch of pucks, and (4) 150KV 300ma GE Xray
diodes which I think are cool, but would not rectify a Tesla Coil output for
a breath.

If you can find 500KV+ HF diodes then no reason why not. They do make some 
massive diodes *somewhere*, maybe xray machine outlets are a good start. I 
buy 8KV HF diodes from out outlet here in the UK, though this is only very 
low power TC voltages.
