Re: [TCML] Fun with Wireless Power

TCML,

Next week we will be testing and shipping another SG10-TC to Korea. This one is going to be installed in the headquarters lobby of the Korean Power Company (the other installed last year resides at the National Science Museum in Seoul).
After reading Greg's post and realizing that, for a few days, we will have
completely identical SG10-TC systems in the shop (our rental unit and the
Korea coil), it dawned on me that we should try and replicate Greg's
findings.
Early next week, I'll set up a schedule for testing. People with interest
and experience in WTP and who might find themselves in the Southern
California area should contact me at my "workshop" email address for the
exact date, time and place.
Jeff

Hi All,

Here's a write-up on tests we did to determine the cause of a burned grounding lead connected across the primary of a *supposedly* dead Tesla Coil. Turns out that electric fields alone can couple quite strongly... 800 watts across 5 meters of open space! GL
