[TCML] RQ Status Update

 Hello Coilers,

I am not "back" in the sense that I will be monitoring this list daily or that I will have the time to help answer questions and advise people on coiliing issues... I think everything I could say I have already written up and it is available in the archives.

I am divorced now, paid off the enormous debt my wife inflicted me with (which resulted in the canceling of my laboratory almost as soon as I was breaking ground). I guess it has been 12 years or so since I have actually wired and fired anything.

A couple of years ago I realized something about Tesla coils that I had not seen previously. This is not a completely accurate statement, because I had seen something previously; my notes, my postings here, and my postings on FIDOnet (all of which were saved and archived by some very thoughtful people) are exceedingly clear regarding my understanding of resonator functions. I guess what I did was made a leap to the next level. Shortly after I "saw" this, I went and talked to my folks... Who advised me to seek a patent attorney, who practically flipped out when I documented my work and the applications I saw. Next came a contract attorney... And a potential buyer.

BTW, anybody who says that Tesla coils have no practical applications is an idiot. They may not be smart enough to figure them out... But there is an entire industry awaiting development... Tesla once said something to the effect that "They own the present... The future, for which I have truly worked, is mine."

Talking with the attorneys and the potential buyers they all asked or said about the same thing: ideas are great, but without a working demonstration prototype it's just an idea... The potential buyers will not risk development unless they get a great deal on the patent rights, and their attorneys declined to sign a non-disclosure agreement unless they had a contract on the technology I was bringing to the table. This led to a stalemate in my efforts to market the technology, my contract attorney advised me that I would be cutting my throat if I were to discount the technology and allow potential buyers to undertake development; the potential buyers countered with an offer to pay me a consulting fee while they developed... And as I left the room to meet in private with my legal team I was nudged in the ribs and told/asked "How long will it take you to get into a lab?"

Sooo... I made yet another major change in my life. I liquidated all my assets, bought 30 acres off-grid out in the middle of nowhere (some undisclosed location in some huge desert somewhere with miles and miles of dirt track between me and the nearest paved road). I had a contractor come in and put up the lab building. I still don't know how they got concrete trucks up the side of the mountain, but the contractor loves to tell the story of how he conned the concrete guys to making a delivery to an "undisclosed location". Anyways... The lab building is a 30 x 50 with a full 15 foot ceiling height, concrete slab and all steel construction.

I never parted with my Tesla equipment, it did spend a number of years in storage which nickeled and dimed me... But I knew that replacing the equipment would be nearly impossible at a reasonable cost... So after lots of hauling thru the desert I got my coils, power cabinet, transformers, capacitors, etc. moved in... I am in the process now of installing and bonding the grounding system, and need to excavate in order to pour an engineered foundation for the power plant. I have been told that a backhoe will be available for this work in the next 30-60 days, and I hope to have the lab powered up and ready to rock and roll by mid-summer.

Oh yeah... I wrote two books, I talked to Gary Peterson over at 21st Century about publishing one of the books... We talked on the phone for 15 minutes while I explained to him what I was seeing and pointed him to Tesla's patent portfolio for the supporting documentation. He signed on immediately... He was ready to buy it on the spot, but the contract attorney was listening on the extension and when she heard his reaction she started making throat cutting motions and mouthing to me to shut up... I was a little surprised. That was followed by another meeting with the patent attorney... And the lawyers killed my book sale: "Proprietary information should not be released into the public domain until all of the patents resulting from the information have been secured." I really cannot argue this. It's terribly exciting work, what I see is really pretty simple, and I naturally want to go out and tell everybody who would listen and perhaps understand... But I would be dong myself a personal disfavor if I were to talk about specifics... I have a lab under construction, I can develop (I think I am most qualified to do this work) and the attorneys are patiently awaiting the working demo prototypes. They have visited the lab (when busy attorneys make arrangements to come out to see me on their dime, it really means something).. Once this technology is patented, then I can publish, freely disclose, and discuss whatever our dear government does not gag with "national security" restrictions (I am sure there will be some).

I want to end this post with an intellectual challenge to you readers. I have something shocking to tell you, and it is the truth, as you will realize if you believe your own eyes. I will warn you that you have to discard everything you have been taught and told about physics, and not many people can rid themselves of these taught prejudices.

Tesla at one point described Einstein as "A pauper upon whom they have bestowed a purple robe and call King." - I know this statement to be true in it's gist. Einstein's "thought experiments" (gigo) are all linear, and we live inside a rotational universe. Einstein (actually his wife did the grunt work) stated that time space is curved... Tesla states that the universe is fractal in nature. You decide... Go fire up your coil and look at the spark (Tesla did). Now explain to yourself how the fractal nature of matter and energy on earth somehow changes to a curved nature once you leave the planet.

Ever wonder why nobody has come up with a unified field theory? Einstein threw a monkey wrench into the machine... Until you discount Einstein, and his wife's "curved" space theory you will never see the technology that is the basis for things like working hydrogen fusion reactors and high energy electric spacecraft drives.

Fractal mathematics were not developed until 1978, and Tesla had never heard of or used the word "fractal"... But he saw fractals, he understood the fractal nature of the universe, and his patent portfolio is crammed with exploits. Tesla tried gallantly to explain this in his lectures thru demonstration, at the time it was the very best he could do... But it takes a special type mind to understand the implications, exploit them, and develop the working machines.

I wrote up a couple of threads some time ago if you are interested in more information:

Tesla was right... The future is his. I hope to be one of those who can wrap up part of it, and give it to him giftwrapped... He, and humanity, have waited long enough.

Moderator: I do not know that the list accepts attachments, I have attached two photos of the lab. If the list does not support them, you may post the photos where you wish.
