I have a standard 14,400/120-240 volt, 25 kV rated pole transformer
unit that weighs 376 lbs, according to the nameplate nomenclature. I'm
not sure if this translates to the NET weight without the 18 gallons of oil
or the GROSS weight, including the 18 gallons of oil but even if it only
refers to the net weight w/out the oil, at ~7lbs./gal that would still only
mean about 500 lbs. gross weight, including the oil. The higher voltage
and 200 kV bIL rating would probably translate to a more massive
transformer per kVA rating, but I would still doubt that it justify a 1000
lbs. estimate.? Maybe 600 to 700?

That thing is hug! I couldn't find where they listed the weight of it but
it must be up around 1000 lbs. For the kinds of Tesla coils most people
have you probably wouldn't want to run it at any more than half the rated
voltage.
