RE: [TCML] 60ma Coil Discharge - comments welcome



Try looking at the photos on this page  http://www.audiotesla.org/corona%20experiment.htm  Flashes look familiar? I also noticed the corona skirt on the coil. This seems to be indicative of somewhat overcoupling and not enough insulation on the secondary. I would recommend coating the secondary. I used several (about 20 coats) of varnish on the demo coil with great success. If you choose to go this route, would you be so kind as to post some photos, please?
