RE: [TCML] Plastic Capacitors "HG" series



I suspect these caps are not suitable for a TC.  The web page cited makes no mention of the dielectric type, but for that case style, mylar is often used, which means it will get hot quickly.  And getting hot with a glass case is particularly not good :-(  

Like the web page says, for complete specs, request their catalog, or at least ask them what the dielectric composition is.  If the answer is Mylar or polyester film, the Marx generator is a good plan B.
