Re: [TCML] Calling Peter Terren (Tesla High speed Footage)

Thank you.
I have done streak photography where you can look at sparks with resolution down to microsecond per pixel resolution.

It is not true high speed video, but in some respects is capable of even more detail with an eqiuivalent 100,000 fps for 10 pixel separated images.

But, I guess that is not what you are talking about. There aren't any high speed cameras that I know of near me, but people have taken high speed video of TC's in action.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3glM3lt3Kxs Mike's Electric stuff at 2000fps
http://www.youtube.com/ztresearch ZTresearch's 24,000fps

None of these high speed videos show that streamers ring up and sparks ring down that can be clearly seen by my rotating mirror (streak) camera.

Cheers
Peter

So I know im probably not the first to think of this, but has anyone ever filmed a large coil with a high speed camera. That would be beautiful! Peter, since you have some of the most beautiful Tesla photography out there that i've seen, I nominate you. Do we have a second?

Thanks everyone
