If Finn sets his Predikter at first, he can change out the secondary coil, primary coil, caps, spark length, etc. without having to readjust anything. All DRSSTC circuits are fully feedback for general frequency timing. There is no kHz adjustment. They adjust themselves dynamically in real time to match the coil's needs. The predictor is looking at say the last 1uS of the current signal and giving the timing point. That never changes unless the drive circuit components themselves are changed. Even if the inductance does change 0.01% due to say a nearby person, the circuit will instantly adjust itself too. In fact, as the streamers reach out and the coil's Fo drops say 3%, the DRSSTC drive and the Predikter timing will still be perfectly fine. It still works fine when it is arcing to ground too. His Predikter can probably run just fine from say 20kHz to 1MHz without any adjustment.

It not a theoretical possibility, it is a demonstrated fact... Finn has actually built and tested it on the bench and on working coils making real sparks. When I get time, I will "model it" to be "really sure" it is true :D
