Re: [TCML] Shameless plug for my ebay coil

Hi D.C.
It's an old Franceformer 7500/30ma. core and coil. Complete with removable shunts. Looks just like a depotted nst. I got two of these on ebay about 6 years ago, then the supply dried up. I wish I could have gotten more. Naturally, I did remove about 8 shunt leaves per quadrant to kick up the current.

Who manufactures the 7500 volt 20 mA nst core/coil type like you are using?
I've seen them up to 6 kV, but never 7.5 kV.

Gentlemen:
The economic slow down has forced me to go back to rounding up stuff from
the shed, and build something that hopefully someone will want to buy. As
such, if I may direct your attention to my latest Tesla coil presently on
ebay, running through to the end of the week. If someone you know wants some
pre-made high voltage fun without all the scroungin' solderin' drillin'
sandin', and shellacin', then this Tesla coil just might tickle their fancy.
It is ebay item number 220480027427 or you can find it by looking for the
table top Tesla Coil. Sorry for this commercial interruption!
Best regards,
