Good to hear that it will work, dont want to buy new caps only for this nst.
I will set the gaps very carefully.

here is a pic of the almost completed circuit. Will have PVC tubing and covers on all exposed metallic parts. Nylon was just a bit too expensive hehe.

Another question,
I might run my tc of a generator, anything i need to think about or will it work as good as from the mains ?

Hi Andreas,

I think the 60nF cap would be too large and would draw excessive mains
current. While the 30 nF cap is close to resonant, that's only a problem if
you set the gap too wide and don't have a properly set safety gap.  I'd
recommend using the 30.
