Sounds like super glue (the acrylic based stuff) would do the trick for
you.  Ive used it many times for HV applications.  To be honest, though,
any flyback that isnt properly vacuum potted with the right insulation is
likely to suffer from corona internally.  It may take years (or maybe just
seconds) of occasional hobby use before this corona does its lasting damage
of shorting out your coil.  Making HV transformers corona-free is hard.

TSC is a good ferrite supplier, i use them myself.
