It may not be quality but type that is the issue.
If they are open so you can see the rollers they are meant to operate
submerged in oil or packed in grease, they cannot be run dry and will feel
like they have a lot of play when not under load.
The sealed type on the other hand are permanently lubricated and will feel
nice and tight all the time.
I recommend something like sealed motorcycle wheel bearings.
They usually run about $15 a pair and can be found on ebay.

Size you will need to verify on your own but I know that Triumph uses a
3/4" axle.
