Re: [TCML] upside down coil

Simon,

Richard Hull of the TCBOR built a magnifier that had an upside
down extra coil hung from the ceiling. You could walk underneath
the toroid.

The Franklin Institute in Philidelphia PA has an upside down
Tesla coil suspended over a dance floor. The kids or teens dance
underneath it.

I've heard there are other similar installations. The Tesla coils
run fine upside down.

Cheers,
John

Subject: [TCML] upside down coil

Is it theoretically possibly to build a coil of anykind that is upside
down? meaning where the toroid is closest to the ground?

Just curious, thank you.
