Re: [TCML] Polypropylene Capacitors for Sale

Hi Paul,

These are on the small side for MMC use but a large array could work since they are higher current pulse rated foil-film construction PP caps. The 2 kV version are pulse rated for 10,000 V/us. All the electrical and mechanical specs for the 376 series can be found here:

Chip or Gary,
I haven't been participating on the TCML for a while and I'm not sure about
the rules about posting items for sale and posting my email address. If I
am violating any policies, I apologize profusely. Otherwise, if this is
okay, please post it to the list for me.

My email address to contact me about buying electronic parts is
tubedesignspb@xxxxxxxxx

I recently purchased thousands of Philips 2000 volt KP/MMKP polypropylene
AC & Pulse rated capacitors at a very good price and I have them in
.0027uF, .0062uF, and .0075uF.

I have been selling the .0027uF ones on eBay for a while and recently added
the .0075uF ones but I haven't yet listed the .0062uF, since I just got
them in yesterday. I looked at the recommended caps list for MMC's but
these are not listed as either good or bad and I have no idea whether or
not anyone has any experience using them but the labels say they are AC &
Pulse rated.

The part numbers are:
.0027uF - 2222 376 92272
.0062uF - 2222 376 92622
.0075uF - 2222 376 92752

I used to be able to find the datasheet for these online but I can't
anymore. I can find related datasheets for the 2222 376 series
polypropylene capacitors but only in the lower voltages. The part numbers
for the 2000 volt caps start with this series of numbers 2222 376 92...
with the 92 representing 2000 volts and the last 3 digits representing the
capacitance, as in the 3 part numbers I listed above. If anyone can locate
a datasheet for these and can send me the link, I would be eternally
grateful.

I do not like using the best offer option but prefer to deal with TCML
members directly and give discounts.
The capacitors ship from Brasstown, NC but I ship free, so it really
doesn't matter, unless you are located over seas. If you are located
outside the US, I will subtract the cost of US shipping from the cost to
ship to your location.
If you would rather buy on eBay, here's the info.

The URL on eBay for a quantity of 50 of the .0027uF capacitors is this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290995499209

The URL on eBay for a quantity of 100 of the .0075uF capacitors is this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290990604169&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

If you send me an email and identify yourself as a member of the TCLM, I
will discount the eBay price for these by 15% and still ship them free in
the US and will ship to locations outside the US for the actual cost to
ship them, minus the cost to ship them inside the US. The cost to ship
inside the US is the same regardless of location and I ship them by USPS
First Class Mail.

I hope I have included all of the pertinent information.
Think Positive,
Paul
