Re: [TCML] VTTC feedback coil phasing

I could have just tried reversing the leads on the feedback coil to find out but I was too lazy to make new leads so I thought I would just ask. It turns out that I picked the correct phasing the first time since I am getting 18" sparks. I guess I will just be satisfied with 18" and move on to another project. Thanks.

Result is either no spark, or extremely weak spark such as 1" long. Phase cannot
be the problem for your coil. Also in regards to your other question, I don't
think replacing the tank capacitor with the mica cap will help the performance.

I know the phasing of a VTTC feedback coil makes a difference. If the phasing is 180 degrees off, does this result in no sparks or just diminished spark length?
