I did have the good fortune of attending one of DC’s “Lightning on the Lawn” Cheesehead Teslathons, in 2007. Cameron Prince drove nearly 4 hours from his home in Decatur, AL to meet me at my place (near Memphis), then we took out together for the ~11 hour drive to Baraboo. I even brought my Green Monster Tesla coil along and fired it off of DC’s control panel power supply for his “Big Bruiser” Tesla coil. My own control panel was far too massive for me to bring along with my coil without direct access to a fork lift! 😉 But yea, that was some good times.
