Without any proof, I suspect that a coiler named Mark Barton who 
used to be on this list would have done it. He and friend/s once built 
a coil with an H-bridge driver to run around 10kW CW, 40 kW 
burst. Some sketchy details of this system are on Alan Sharp's web 
page.
