I wondered what these caps were for. Some folks said not to use them
so I didn't. Is it safe to do so? Two transformers pull about 18 - 20
amps, so I would like to get it down but don't have the usual pfc caps
that are used and since my variac is a 25amp unit, I never really
worried about it.
