	We use high current or pulse rated polypropylene caps.  2000V at around
50-100nF is about right.  They are usually a bit pricey.  Practically any
other common commercial cap will quickly if not instantly burn up from the
high frequency current.  I am not familiar with the Radio Shack caps you
mention but the values seem impossible.  I don't know of any Radio Shack
caps that would work for a coil. 

The resonant size for 12/30 is 6.63nF.
For a static gap, a nice LTR size is around 11nF.  Maybe a bit more.
For a sync rotary gap LTR you can go to 17nF.

The current is reasonably high so you should have 3 or more strings of good
poly caps in an MMC.  The simple program at:
