Hi all...

I went nuts on E-Bay and bought up all the big Variacs today ...

ended up with a huge 240V 28 amp unit , a dual 120v 25amp tandem, a
suprize box with an unknown ( the writing on the box said 30 amp) 120v
unit and i still have a bid on a 120V 20 amp unit

through experimentation i have found that using pfc's drop the amperage
before the caps and the amps go back to a higher value after the caps 

im thinking the obvious thing to do is place the Variac in line first
then the pfc cap but...  since i need current limiting for the pig   do
i place the inductors after the caps or before them ? 

so  which is the best way ?? 

220V --> variac--> caps --> inductors --> pig  ?   or
220V --> variac--> inductors --> caps --> pig  ?
