Floats-
McMaster Carr, they have a web page,
http://www.mcmaster.com -ball floats 2" and up.
Threaded brass balls (solid and hollow)-
American DeRosa, 1-800-777-4440
You may have to order through a local light fixture
shop, I went through a local shop that used them
as a supplier.
This second supplier is the one that has many sizes
of solid balls available. I saw their catalog at a
home lighting shop that sold lamps etc.
A search using http://www.altavista.com for "American DeRosa"
brings up a number of lighting dealers that use them as a supplier.
(When searching in AltaVista, use the double quotes for phrases,
quotes not necessary for one word searches)
